Cleverrish Field App

Capture field observations, record your route and keep your mapping projects together.

Currently available to invited internal testers. Open the testing link with your registered Google account.

What the updated app can do

Create points, lines and polygons

Place vertices on the map or enter coordinates. Add polygon vertices using bearing and distance, and move the picking crosshair to your current GPS location.

Add field evidence

Attach notes and photographs to points, copy point coordinates, and change point icons to distinguish features.

Record and style GPS tracks

Record your movement with the app open, minimized or the screen off after granting the required permissions. Review saved track details and adjust track colour and thickness.

Collect survey points

Save a live GPS position or average repeated readings. View fix accuracy and age, and create lines or polygons from saved survey points in order.

Navigate to one or several points

Choose destinations from saved points, the map or entered coordinates. Arrange their visiting order and follow straight-line distance and bearing from your current location, with a compass-quality indicator.

Manage layers and PDF basemaps

Import mapping layers and PDF basemaps. Adjust a PDF layer’s transparency to see the underlying map, and manage project features through Layers.

Export survey-plan PDFs

Choose a polygon, A4 or A3 paper, portrait or landscape, and a plan title at the top or bottom. Plans include a border, north arrow, scale bar, bearings, distances and coordinate schedules.

Choose the PDF coordinate datum

Export in WGS84 / UTM or Minna / UTM for Nigeria. Minna uses a standard transformation with approximately 15 m stated accuracy; confirm against local survey control for precision work.

Share UTM coordinates

Export layer and track coordinates as comma-separated TXT or Excel-compatible CSV. X is easting and Y is northing, in WGS84 UTM metres; the filename identifies the zone and hemisphere.

Back up personal projects

Sign in with Google and back up projects to your own Google Drive, including point photos and imported PDF basemaps.

Work with your group

Create or join a group workspace. Administrators manage member roles and membership, while members share backed-up projects and their included basemaps within the group.

Work comfortably offline

Use locally saved project data and imported PDF basemaps without internet. Choose light or dark theme. Online basemaps, sign-in and cloud backup need a connection; online basemap-area downloads are not currently offered.

Location and compass accuracy depend on your device and surroundings. Phone measurements are not a substitute for verified survey control. Navigation shows straight-line guidance, not road routing.
